Get direct assistance from our team of planners by contacting our general inquiry inbox, SacPlan@saccounty.gov.

Apply for a Planning Permit

Apply for a Planning Permit or Entitlement, such as a Conditional Use Permit, Design Review, or Certificate of Nonconforming Use.

Schedule an Appointment

Schedule an appointment to meet in person with a planner. Walk-in services are also available.

How are we doing?

Planning and Environmental Review (PER) is always considering ways to improve our service.  The best way for us to find where we can improve is to ask those who use our services – our customers. We value your feedback, both negative and positive. We will do our best to address your concerns. Your input is valuable to us as we evaluate our front counter procedures and operations and our website.

How to Submit Comments

Comments regarding the Office of Planning and Environmental Review can be submitted to “SacPlan” either by email or U.S. mail. Comments will be distributed to the appropriate staff.
