Board of Supervisors
The highest hearing body in Sacramento County composed of an elected body of five representatives representing five districts.
Planning Commission
A commission composed of volunteers elected by the Board of Supervisors to make final decisions or recommendations on certain land use projects.
Subdivision Review Committee & Zoning Administrator
The Subdivision Review Committee is composed of senior representatives of various County departments and one public representative who take final action on subdivision map and parcel map projects. The Zoning Administrator is a senior representative of the Planning Department who can take final action on certain entitlements.
Advisory Bodies

Design Review Advisory Committee (DRAC)

Project Review Committee (PRC)
A committee made up of representatives of various review agencies intended to provide applicants with transparency to the review and approval process, early identification of problems, and early intervention and issue resolution. A committee that advises on matters relating to overseeing the implementation of the Sacramento County Bicycle Master Plan (SCBMP) adopted April 2011.
